Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Monroe Christian School is a Christian-only private school. For her secondary education, Ward began at Ouachita High School. However, she later transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her Junior year. Following her graduation, Ward briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen, leaving her school to move in New York. She attempted acting a few years later. In the 1970s, she was a part-time actress with no credit on the daytime soap All My Children. Then she was cast in a role that lasted only a few minutes as NBC's prime time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Then, in late 1996Ward got a job in the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the romantic Meg Cummings. In 1999, Ward began her film career playing Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic film The In Crowd. It did not do well in the commercial theatres, but it did find some commercial success with home-video and cable. Ward had a role as a backup for the role of Shallow Hal the following year. Apart from her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in numerous guest appearances on television shows including Friends. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in on the ABC Family drama show Make It or Break It being a part of the cast in the series' first two seasons. In her personal life she married the producer David C. Robinson and had a son named Cameron and David.
